Association News for January

January Meeting Update: The meeting, held on January 12, was bitter sweet. Danny Milski lead this, his last meeting, after a lengthy stint as President. Thank you Danny for all your time and effort in helping to improve the Zona and much, much more. We truly appreciate all that you have done!

On the bright side, we successfully elected new President Glen Triplett and Secretary Barbara MacDonald to the Board. Vice President Lourdes Gonzales Robles and Treasurer David Thompson agreed to continue their positions for another year.

Treasurer David Thompson reported that 58 Members have paid so far. A big thank you goes out to Lacy Mutch, who has recruited several new Members, much in part because of her efforts in cleaning up our streets. If you have not yet paid your dues of $2,000 pesos, please contact David Thompson as soon as possible to make arrangements. The sooner everyone pays, the sooner the Annual Phone Directory can be updated and emailed out!

The Zona Residencial was divided into 5 Zones. The Zone Leaders will help lighten the load of the President (see detailed information below under "Association Contact List"). Several people volunteered to be Zone Leaders, but we still need a volunteer for Zones 3 and 5. If you are interested, please contact any Board Member or Zone Leader.

If you would like a copy of the complete Minutes from this meeting, please contact Secretary Barbara MacDonald.
